However, a lodge card is intended for pre-trip expenses only, and is typically handled by the finance team, travel manager, HR manager, or office manager, depending on the company size. A lodge card cannot be used for other purposes, as it is generally added directly to a travel management platform, and doesn’t allow other types of payments or other vendor categories.
